Boulder Mennonite Church hosted a solidarity event with the Millions Marching for Medicare 4 All movement on Monday, July 24th 2017 from 5-7 pm. With about 25 demonstrators from the church and the local community in attendance, the event received much visibility and popular support at the corner of Table Mesa and Broadway.
The event was timed the day before the Senate voted to open discussion on the American Health Care Act (AHCA), which the Congressional Budget Office estimated would cause 23 million more Americans to be uninsured by 2026 if passed.
BMC’s demonstration advocates bipartisan support for health care reform that would leave no citizen uninsured.
