Service-Learning Projects

Boulder Mennonite Church members participate in “Service Learning” opportunities, service projects which are designed to include elements of learning related to the hosts of that project.

BMC SERVICE-LEARNING PROJECT FOR 2021

 
June 9-13 @ Poudre Canyon Chapel and surrounding areas: Cameron Peak Fire debris cleanup, erosion control, watershed protection
June 8-9:          set up and staging
June 9:             work crews arrival and settling in…. orientation 6:30pm
June 10-12:     workdays in designated areas…. tasks may include wattle placement, chipping, hauling slash and wood chips
June 13:           Worship together @ Poudre Canyon (no service on BMC campus or Zoom)

June 16-20 @ Grand Lake ColoradoEast Troublesome Fire debris cleanup, erosion control, and watershed protection.

June 14-16:      set up and staging
June 16:           work crews arrival and settling in….. orientation in the pm
June 17-19:      workdays in designated areas
June 20:           Worship together
