A Prayerstream project in the wake of the December 31 Marshall Fire
BMC and Prayerstream are putting together comfort kits to give to people affected by the fires, and you can be a part of this! The following items are still needed:
- Small bottles of lotion
- lip balm
- cards with uplifting quotes
- notes of encouragement
- hacky sack balls for stress
- crayons, markers, pens
- Kind bars
- small chocolate bars
- sticky notes
There will be a bin for these offerings as you enter the sanctuary. We also need people skilled at sewing to make some cloth bags. Randy has a simple pattern: see comfort kit sewing pattern (downloadable PDF).

DONATIONS FOR THE MARSHALL FIRE VICTIMS are still being accepted here at BMC. Boulder Mennonite Church is accepting donations to be stored at our church and later delivered to locations as the need arises. Click here for the list of items needed. Let’s fill up the library with our love in action for those who have lost so much!
THE LOUISVILLE FREE STORE is collecting items for victims of the Marshall Fire. BMCer Jill Minter visited and found it to be a helpful place for people to receive aid. Please visit their Facebook page for a list of current needs, updated daily.
